Our Story

Where two worlds meet

Japandi interior

The Beginning

Born from two traditions

Casa Terra began with a realization: the most peaceful spaces share common elements—natural materials, clean lines, and room to breathe. Whether in a sun-drenched Mediterranean villa or a serene Japanese home, these principles create environments that nurture the soul.

After years of living between Tokyo and Barcelona, our founders saw what design historians have long noted—that Scandinavian minimalism and Japanese wabi-sabi share a deep reverence for simplicity, honesty in materials, and the beauty of imperfection.

We added the warmth of the Mediterranean—the terracotta tones, the gathered-around-the-table spirit, the celebration of light—and Casa Terra was born.

What Guides Us

Our Values

Simplicity

We believe in the power of less. Every element in our furniture serves a purpose, and nothing is added for decoration alone. The result is pieces that feel effortless and timeless.

Natural Materials

Oak, walnut, rattan, linen, ceramic—we work with materials that come from the earth and age with grace. Sustainable sourcing is not an afterthought; it is foundational.

Timeless Design

Trends come and go, but the principles of good design endure. We create pieces meant to be kept, not replaced—furniture that grows more beautiful with time and use.

Mindful Living

Our furniture is designed to encourage presence. Low tables for tea ceremonies, clear workspaces for focused thought, gathered seating for meaningful connection.

“Every joint, every curve, every finish is a meditation on quality.”
